Felted Pins

I have been working on pins for up coming craft fairs. I tend to make a lot of crafts using recycled or repurposed materials. The hair clips are made from felted wool sweaters. 

On some of these I have the vintage brads. They look really great with some of the darker colored wool skirts that I felt. 

Buttons also make great centers for the flowers. I free hand the leaves but use my big shot and dies to cut out the flowers. I use an awl to poke a hole through the flowers to attach the flower pieces together with the brad. 

If I use a button I sew the flower pieces together. The leaf is hot glued to the hair clip and the assembled flower is hot glued to the leaf. They can also be attached to a barrette really cute worn in your hair.
