Disney Day 2 ~ Epcot
Disney Day 2 ~ Epcot
This vacation we saw a lot but didn't do the typical I have to be at the park when it opens and stay until it closes. We got up late in the morning and made out way to Epcot.
Spaceship Earth above and World of Imagination below, we would come back to these later.
Lunch reservations were at Mitsukoshi Tokyo Dining so we made our way through Future World and right into the World Showcase.
Japan
Lunch was excellent. Tiffany had, if I remember correctly, the Ginza with Iced Green Tea, Sake, and Chocolate Ginger Cake,Craig had ? it has slipped my mind, and I had the Shibuya with Iced Tea and Green Tea Cheese Cake.
Italy
Germany
This little model village and train set were outside of Germany.
The Outpost
China
The Terra Cotta Army, I thought it was neat how each soldier was unique had a different facial expression. Love the horses and chariots.
And no he is not part of the art.
Norway
Mexico
Now it is back to take a trip on Space Ship Earth and visit with Figment in the World of Imagination. I love the combination of Future with the step back into the past. Really Epcot has a little bit of all of my passions Sci Fi, Travel and History.
World of Imagination
I hope you enjoyed visiting Epcot with us, there really is so much to see and do here. We didn't get everything in but that just gives us an excuse to come to Disney again. : )
I created this card for Carrie. She checked on my cats while I was on vacation and this set just seemed perfect. I used the cat from Animal Talk and on the inside I stamped the coordinating saying that says *{cat talk for "thank you so much."} The paper is a Pool party base topped by I Am Me designer series paper, I used the front and back of the same sheet to get the chevorns on top and the suitcases on the bottom, again I thought this was a great match for thecard to reference my trip. The focal point in another of the I Am Me papers layer on pool party and stamped in black with the Animal Talk Cat. The cat was also stamped on a piece of More Mustard (retired) cardstock, fussy cut and glued on the stamped dsp.
Thanks for stopping by
See you soon,
