Going Green ~ Stamp-a-zine Cards

In all of these cards the main focal image is stamped on a magazine page. This technique makes for a very unique look.

Attach the red and black strips to the yellow card base. Stamp the cupcake on the bottom right corner of the card. Color in the bottom of the cupcake with colored pencil. Stamp the top of the cupcake on a scrap of white card stock. Color in the sprinkles with colored pencils. Attach the cupcake top to the card. Add the red jewel to the cherry.
Stamp the Happy Birthday in versa mark and sprinkle with black embossing power. Tap off excess powder. Heat the power with the embossing gun and cut out. Attach this to the top of the card at a slight angle.

Ink the background stamp with gold ink. Lay the 3 ¾” x 5” cardstock onto the inked stamp. Use a scrap paper to cover and press the cardstock to the stamp.  Attach this to the red cardstock piece and attach the red to the white card base.
Stamp the heart with versa mark and cover with black embossing power. Tap off excess powder. Heat the power with the embossing gun. Cut out around the heart and attach to the card on the left side. Stamp the greeting on the bottom right of the card.

Cut a v into one end of the dictionary page to make a tail. Do the same thing to the piece of sandpaper. Attach the sandpaper to the dictionary page. Attach these to the blue card base. Trim off any excess even with the left side of the card.
Stamp a greeting on the bottom right of the card.
Stamp the sand dollar image with versa mark. Cover with gold embossing powder.  Tap off excess powder. Heat the power with the embossing gun. Cut out around the image attach to the piece of brown card stock. Add the image on top of the tails of sandpaper and dictionary page.

Stamp the arbor in versa mark and cover with black embossing power. Tap off excess powder. Heat the power with the embossing gun. Trim the image to 3 ¼” x 4”. Attach this to the 3 ½” x 4 ¼” black card stock. Fold the 4 ¼” x 11” white card stock in half and attach the mounted image to it so that the bottom and sides have the same amount of white showing and the top is slightly larger. Tie the black ribbon around the top of the card.

Since I had everything precut there were not many measurements in my instructions. And if you choose to use this technique your measurements will be based on the image and layout that you choose.

I hope you enjoyed these cards.
See ya soon,
~Huggs~
