Happy Valentines Day!

Welcome to the day that is all about romance! 

       I can hear some of you saying, but..........

                  I don't have a significant other.
Why should I want the day to be all about romance if there is no one there to share it with.

Well......... Who better deserves a little romance than you?
         I mean don't you deserve romance in your life? 

YES You Do!
     
Does it have to come from someone else?
NO!

     You can make your life more romantic.  It doesn't have to be about a love affair. Romance is about the way you live, adding a little bit more to the every day moments.

SO!

     Tonight......
       
        Light a candle.

       Put on your favorite relaxing music.   

       Take a nice warm bath, add your favorite products.

          
I like to mix essential oils with a bit of olive oil to add to the bath. You get the added benefit of the aromatherapy with the skin softening of the olive oil.  

         My go to blend is
              3 tablespoon olive oil
             5 drops lavender
             4 drops chamomile
             3 drops frankincense                    
         Slip on some comfy pjs.

 I don't mean your oldest most sloppy ones. Comfy and cute! We are looking for romance here. If you like a nice night gown go for it.

        Cook up a favorite dish. 

You don't have to spend hours in the kitchen. In fact it would be better to have something simple but savory to enjoy after your bath without any prep, so you don't spoil all the calm you just got from your bath. You could even order takeout if that is your favorite. The point is have a lovely meal to go with your evening.

       Pour a glass of wine.

And enjoy this moment of quiet relaxation. 

Finish off the evening with that book you have been meaning to read. 

Or watch a go to movie.

For adventure and romance I like Romancing the Stone.
For a bit more fanciful romance I like Kate and Leopold.
