Kansas City Road Trip

We made a road trip to Kansas City this past weekend.

Tiff has a blog called Historic House Huntress and loves taking road trips to see historic houses. lol.

The trip started at 7:30 am to make the most of our day.
We stopped in Independence MO on the way to KC.

The first stop was at the visitor information center. I picked up one of the National Parks passports and stamped it. Tiff stamped a piece of paper that they provide so she could add it to her's when she got home. We bought our tickets for the Harry S. Truman home tour.

Since it was noonish and the tour didn't start until 3:30 we went and got some lunch.

After lunch we headed to the Truman house for our tour.

They don't let you take pictures of the inside of the house.

After touring the house we stopped by the Truman Library.

We then headed to our airbnb to unload our suitcases and relax a bit before heading our to the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art.

We were in the carriage house above the garage.
