Willy Wonka Baby Shower Decorations
07/29/2013
Tiff's hosted a baby shower for her friend this past weekend and I got to help create decorations. The theme was Willy Wonka, so we had fun colors and lots of candy.
To create my penants I started out with Whisper white card stock and selected the colors and stamps I wanted to use.
Rich Razzelberry, So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie and Concord Crush were the colors.
The stamps were from Lovely and Lacey and A Fitting Occasion I also used a solid 3/4" dot from a retired stamp set and a pencil eraser. In the small banner for the cake instead of the solid dot I used the multi dot stamp from Summer Smooches.

To give the bottom of the pennant its shape I used the Label framlits, one size for the whisper white and a size larger for the concord crush (retired) This can be done using any color combination that suits the occasion.
The Yellow circle is cut with the 3" circle die and the letters are a retired die set. The Typeset alphabet dies would give a similar look though smaller. I was just using what I had on hand.
Hope this gives you some ideas of what you can do to create banners for any occassion. I will be showing more that I am making up for craft fairs and an upcoming birthday soon.
Check back for picts of the diaper cake.
Thanks for stopping by ~
See you soon,
